Coffee, plants, paint
and landscape.

The Trailhead is a live-work compound: the people who work here are part of what makes it feel like a neighborhood.

Cafecito

A family-run café in the glass-walled greenhouse at the front of the compound. Argentine, Armenian and Italian roots meet local ingredients: empanadas with chimichurri, Buenos Aires-style coffee, mate and weekend brunch on two garden patios. Open for breakfast and lunch; evenings for special events.

Hours Mon–Thu 8–3 · Fri–Sat 8–4 · Sun 9–3 · Evenings for special events

“I could eat Cafecito’s chimichurri sauce like soup.”

Chlorophyll Fine Houseplants

A “musical plant gallery” of rare and unusual houseplants and kokedama, run by Mara Lafferty and Daniel Murphy. Daniel composes the ambient music you hear in the shop. They also design and care for plant installations, including the greenery inside Cafecito.

“Think Brian Eno’s Music for Airports, but, like, for plants.”
